Hey everyone! I've just had a fantastic piece of news which has sparked me going off on a Rat Queens recommendation spree.
Rat Queens is a humour comic about an all-girl adventuring party. It's brilliantly funny and I'd recommend it to anyone with an interest in fantasy, diversity and especially pen 'n' paper RPGs. It's just fantastic and I believe the first issue is available for free somewhere.
The particular piece of news that has got me ranting about its excellence again is the confirmation that kickarse orc warrior-woman Braga is transgender. I loved the character anyway (she's currently my Twitter banner image and I've been considering making her my first ever cosplay project) and the reveal has had me crying tears of joy. Any trans* representation is good, but finding out that a favourite character is trans* is amazing.
Anyway, read Rat Queens. You won't regret it. Unless you're a soulless, sex-negative, misogynistic homophobe with no sense of humour.
